What is the difference between bot detection and device intelligence?

Bot detection answers "is this automated?"; device intelligence answers "what device is this, and is it linked to abuse?". Device intelligence is the broader layer: the same engine that draws on 250+ browser, device, and network signals to spot bots also links devices across accounts for account takeover, multi-accounting, and chargebacks. In cside, bot and AI-agent detection are built on the device-intelligence engine, not a separate product.
